Gong!
Above are the lyrics for the song "Aku Bukan Musuh Harta" by former Mufti of Perlis, Dr M Asri Zainul Abidin (sung by Kopratasa).
However RTM ban the song saying that the lyrics are harsh. (???) Come on la, this is a song, not a Bahasa Melayu textbook for Standard 1.
Harsh or spit onto someone's face? Haha. No comment, coz Dr Asri publicly claimed that he's not into politics, neither do I...
Btw, 'gong' in Kelantanese Malay is 'ridiculous' .

Merry Christmas
A very good friend of mine (I'll name his as Wan) studied in Durham, England. One Christmas Eve, he received Christmas cards and gifts from his English friends.
Wan: Thank you, but I'm a Muslim not a Christian.
Wan's English friend: So? I've never been to a church my entire life.
Wan: Errr... OK...

What has happened to our society? - Part II
Following yesterday's post about our society's true faces (not all), I believe that these kind of peoples are some kind of disease of our society. And diseases shall be cured by the owner of the affected body (society).
And when diseases go beyond treatment - amputate the parts.
Their morals, their code... it's a bad joke. Dropped at the first sign of trouble. They're only as good as the world allows them to be.
You'll see- I'll show you... when the chips are down, these civilized people... they'll eat each other.
.
.
.
Oh my, I'm beginning to sound like this guy:
"See, I'm not a monster... I'm just ahead of the curve".

What has happened to our society?
Ketua Polis Selangor, Datuk Khalid Abu Bakar berkata, `mangsa’ membuat laporan mendakwa terlalu ramai petugas berkumpul di kawasan terbabit termasuk sekitar rumahnya menyebabkan dia terganggu.

First & foremost, my sincerest condolences for those who involved with flood, landslide etc in Malaysia these few weeks. These occasions have been very hard for them especially some has lost their family members. They are indeed a small test from the Almighty to us regardless we are affected or not.
But sometimes during these hard times, we might able to get a glimpse on the true faces of some of our society members. It's hard to believe when we barely survived a catastrophe, some of us do the unexpected.
While some of us have showed how humble they are during their suffering. Never once in my life I heard that a flood victim in Kelantan complaint about their conditions (except complaining about some political figure promises to help them just to get a vote but then disappeared...). They are all grateful when moved to temporary shelter whether it is a school, balai raya or even a railway station.
What makes the different? Could it be the wealth?
Could it be education background?
Or could it be our mere mindset?
If this trend is increasing, the future of our generation is worrying...
A few words for the fellow who lodged the mentioned police report:
.
.
.
"Apsal la bukan ngko yg mampus terkambus dalam tanah runtuh tu?! Kalo aku jd team penyelamat kat situ mau aku kambus ngko idup2, bengong!!!"

I Bought A New Bike!
I have quite interesting history with bikes. My family never has any bike until my brother went to university (in 1994) and that was the first and only time I ride a bike (at that time). It was a Suzuki RG 110. My brother and I called it 'Belalang Tempur aka Battle Hopper' for it's dark green colour.
Fast forward to 1998, I found myself in UM and struggling to learn to ride a bike. One of my best friend laughed hysterically when I told him that a Modenas Kriss 110 was too big for me to handle...
The following year, the Battle Hopper was passed down to me and I managed to obtained a B2 license (after passed JPJ repeat test with flying colours... hahaha!). Sad but true, it was stolen afterwards and forced me to buy a 'the big' Modenas Kriss...
One year later, rezeki was still with me & the Suzuki RG was returned to me by Sentul Police Station. Since then it became my father's transport to our small orchard and was sold last year to a relative.
Since my graduation & found myself working, I have almost abandoned my bike riding skills as I'm now driving around here & there.
However, last weekend I could not resist buying a bike. It was my dream bike but not really a motorcycle. Here are the pics of my new bike:

I bought this over at Speedy Video in Jusco Ipoh ;-)
